Sincerest apologies to all my loyal "followers",life got very busy over the holiday period and now I am away from home for a couple of weeks ,so am not posting any blogs.However when I get back things may have slowed down a little and I can get back to some serious blogging .

Did summer start today ????

Evening all , so much has been happening lately that I don't know where to start .Cam came home for a few days which was VERY pleasant ,but he's back now helping to run a science camp for the week.We had a very nice WWOOFer from Canada,but life in Cambrian was Too exciting for her and she's headed back to a festival in Takaka,[could Takaka be more enthralling than Cambrian ?????]
Saw a fantastic doco on China last night made by a Canadian photographer,it was mind blowing stuff and if you are interested I'll find out his name . Finally the trees are starting move a little ,but not before time ,I hope that we might have a month of warm weather before the autumn creeps in ,

Busy days

Just a few shots from the last couple of days .The Kidston family own a 'crib' in Cambrian [as well as the Careys Bay Pub !!!]The xmas gift is the print on the wall ,plus the bottle of whiskey ,see you at Easter when I sober up !!!

Early or late ??????

If you have a frost on Jan 4th is it a late frost from last winter or an early one from next ? normally I wouldn't talk about the weather ,but man this season it's newsworthy ,It's blowing a gale out there right now ,but thankfully dropped a few drops of rain beforehand ,some days are incredibly hot and others you are lighting the fire ,the poor little trees are suffering ,
Had a great trip to town to Caroline Kidstons wedding ,I went by boat and moored it close to the venue !! It's that time of year for having lots of lovely visitors ,so here are a few photos of the most recent ones . Cheers
